Climb Ready Clothes: Electra Tank and Nimble Shorts
I was hoping to have pictures for this review from climbing at Smith Rock today, but the weather didn’t cooperate. So, I headed to the gym with my almost 6-year-old and she took these shots. My favorite top from the spring line is the Electra tank. I’m wearing it in cool stripe, but I love it so much I ordered a second one in grass. The material of this top is heavenly and the cut is super flattering. New for this spring is the Nimble Short, which I am wearing in grass (my favorite color). Since I’m short, these “shorts” are more gaucho length on me and fall below my knee. On more “normal” sized ladies, they would fall just above the knee. I like the longer length, as I often hit my knees when climbing, so having a little coverage helps them from getting too bashed up. The material of these pants is going to be great for warm spring and summer days. It’s the same as the Meridian capri (my favorite pants from the fall line), which means it’s so lightweight it feels like you are wearing nothing. And how about that grass color? I just think it’s beautiful and will look great at Smith Rock. Hopefully I will have some nice outdoor climbing shots soon.
