Ladderback Dress Review by Tali Koziol
Tali Koziol’s Review of the Ladderback Dress
While Stonewear Designs clothing isn’t intended as Maternity wear, I wore their clothes more than any other brand during my pregnancy and continue to wear them especially now as my body takes its post-pregnancy shape. The fabric easily moves and stretches with your curves but always bounces back to its original shape.
I began wearing the Ladderback Dress in the second trimester of my pregnancy. From then on I would easily wear the dress at least once a week throughout the rest of my pregnancy and even now, five weeks postpartum.
The Ladderback Dress is cute and a bit sexy while still maintaining modesty and mystery. I love wearing the dress to the farmer’s market or while hiking. The built-in shelf bra is supportive and the removal cup padding fits well and has a nice shape that flatters the bust line. The unique design of the back keeps the straps from sliding when you’re moving and helps provide support as well.
The built-in zipper pocket accommodates my phone (a Samsung Galaxy – not small!), my ID, a key, and some money quite easily without adding a lot of bulk. It rests as a perfect spot so I don’t even notice it’s there.
The fabric is quick drying when it gets wet–I’ve experienced this effect both with rain and baby spit-up! And better yet, the fabric drapes nicely without being too thin. I’ve even washed it about 20 times now and it’s still as black as the day I got it.
To sum it all up: I always look forward to wearing this dress because I know I’ll be comfortable all day!
