Ambassador Favorites: Tami Mittan
There’s been an exciting new addition to the Stonewear lineup of capri options this season: the Volt Capri. This fantastic all-purpose capri is made in the USA from a soft recycled compression fabric, and has a lovely smooth, slick feel. They are extremely lightweight, taking almost no space whatsoever in your travel or gym bag, yet the material is not the least bit see through. I’ve used them for running and circuit training and I’m very happy with the way they fit and move with you.
The waistband is wide, comfortable, and stays in place nicely. I love my other Stonewear capris, but I was happy to see the Volt arrive and offer a slightly lower rise option. With either of the two great color choices (blank/tryst or grey/robin’s egg), you’ve got a cute color block design around the hips that adds a flattering touch. The hidden pocket in the waistline is big enough for my iPhone 5. And the keyhole leg adds an attractive and unique detail.
I recently took my Volt Capris on a work trip to New Orleans, and was thrilled with what a versatile workout and travel piece addition they make. I packed light (not easy for me, but I’m working on it!) and these helped me out tremendously. They are extremely compact and took up almost no room in my suitcase. Just by including this piece, I had both workout capris available, and comfy “run around pants” for after my work sessions – either for around the hotel, or just walking around exploring the area. And because they dry so quickly, they are easy to wash and hang dry by the next day.
