Aimee Roseborrough’s Resolution: Continue to Be a Great Mom, Wife, and Climber

December is quickly coming to a close, so as we say goodbye to 2012, we here at Stonewear are thinking about how to make 2013 an even better year. We consulted our Ambassadors and Grassroots Team Members to get their opinions on New Year’s resolutions and to ask them what kinds of goals or projects they have planned for the new year. Have questions or comments for our Ambassadors? Connect on Facebook.

Stonewear Designs Ambassador Aimee Roseborrough writes:

Honestly, I don’t really make New Year’s resolutions.  I say the same thing every year; I want to be a better wife, mother, and climber.  These are year round, life-long goals for me.  Since having kids, I haven’t actually been awake to ring in the New Year in my time zone.  Somehow sleep just seems more important than celebrating an arbitrary day and time.  I hope that doesn’t seem too “stick in the mud,”  but it’s just my reality.
However, I do strive to better myself year round.  I attempt to achieve this by setting goals for myself and tracking my progress when it comes to training.  As for being a better mother and wife, I constantly evaluate my interactions with my husband and children and think about how I can do a better job next time.  With my 5-year-old, I attempt to apologize for any poor behavior on my part as soon as possible.  I hope this will teach her to do the same when she behaves poorly.  I am constantly working on being more patient, more loving, and more understanding.
I dragged my kids to Kentucky…
So I could climb this.
But I stayed home and shortened my Vegas trip so that my oldest could be in “The Nutcracker.”
