Know the Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and Take Care of Yourself
No, it’s not Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re also not gearing up for HERA Climb4Life (though we wish we were!), we just care about you and want to take a moment to remind you to take good care of yourself. Review and share the symptoms of ovarian cancer and you could save a life. Learn more about our friend, the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation, by visiting their website.
Know the symptoms:
- Bloating
- Pelvic or abdominal pain
- Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
- Urinary symptoms (urgency or frequency)
See your doctor if any symptoms last more than two to three weeks or are new or unusual for you.
Remember, there is no reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer. Pap smears only test for cervical cancer.
