What, who and where is Water Stone?
Water Stone Outdoors in Fayetteville, West Virginia, just had their 20th anniversary on May 27–they’ve been open 362 days a year for two decades. Impressive, no?
Over the last 20 years, the Water Stone Outdoors team has enjoyed watching Fayetteville develop into a first-rate outdoor recreation destination. The company takes great pride in being a long-time business in their wonderful small town.
The Fayetteville and Water Stone Outdoors community enjoys rock Climbing, whitewater paddling/rafting, stand up paddling, trail running, camping, hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, and more. Their young and energetic staff are have the utmost dedication to their outdoor passions–everyone at the shop climbs pretty seriously, but they also embrace SUP, yoga, running and mountain biking.
Their best outdoor/adventure gear shopping tip for customers?
“There is so much exciting gear and clothing available in the outdoor industry that it can be overwhelming. We advise folks to ask lots of questions, take their time, try lots of stuff on and enjoy the process. We are big believers in finding stuff that can serve many functions.
